Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to printing and related services provided by Riverside Graphics and Lowitz + Sons, operated by Vericron Printing & Graphics, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). Specific terms established in an accepted estimate, order confirmation, or other written agreement will take precedence where applicable.

Estimates and Orders

Estimates are based on the specifications, quantities, materials, finishing requirements, and delivery information provided at the time of quotation. Changes to these details may affect pricing and production schedules.

Orders are subject to confirmation of final specifications, artwork, material availability, and production scheduling. Additional work or services not included in the original estimate may result in additional charges.

Artwork, Files, and Proof Approval

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete artwork, files, and project specifications.

We make reasonable efforts to identify potential production issues, but customers remain responsible for reviewing and approving proofs, including spelling, content, layout, dimensions, and other project details.

Once a proof is approved, customer-requested corrections or changes may result in additional charges and revised production schedules. Errors introduced during our production process remain our responsibility.

Additional design, typesetting, file corrections, prepress preparation, or proof revisions beyond the original scope of work may be billed separately.

Color and Production Variations

We make reasonable efforts to reproduce colors accurately and maintain consistent production quality. However, variations may occur due to printing methods, paper stocks, coatings, finishing processes, and other production factors.

Colors displayed on computer monitors or mobile devices may differ from printed results. Customers requiring a specific color match should communicate those requirements before production and, when appropriate, approve a physical proof or production sample.

Normal variations inherent in commercial printing do not necessarily constitute a production defect.

Quantities and Production Tolerances

Printing and finishing processes may result in reasonable variations between ordered and delivered quantities.

Unless otherwise agreed, quantities are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances appropriate to the production method. Any applicable quantity tolerances and related billing arrangements may be established in the estimate or order confirmation.

Customers requiring exact quantities or guaranteed minimum delivered quantities should specify those requirements before placing an order.

Changes and Cancellations

Orders may be changed or canceled before production begins, subject to work already performed, materials purchased, and other expenses incurred.

Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible without charges for completed work and committed expenses.

Changes to specifications, quantities, materials, artwork, or delivery requirements may result in additional costs and revised completion dates.

Outside Production Partners

Riverside Graphics and Lowitz + Sons may use qualified outside production partners and service providers for printing, finishing, mailing, fulfillment, and other services.

We coordinate these relationships as part of managing customer projects and remain responsible for addressing production issues within the scope of our agreed services.

Production Schedules and Delivery

Production schedules are based on the timely receipt of complete, usable files, required approvals, materials, and other information needed to proceed. Changes or delays in these requirements may affect the completion date.

We make reasonable efforts to meet agreed production and delivery schedules. However, delays caused by carriers, material shortages, equipment failures, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect delivery.

All orders are available for pickup at our Chicago office, located at 213 W. Institute Place, Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60610, at no additional delivery charge.

Customers may alternatively arrange for shipping or delivery by UPS, FedEx, USPS, local courier, freight carrier, or another appropriate method. Shipping and delivery services are optional, and applicable charges will be separately identified on estimates, order confirmations, or invoices. The selling price of the printed products remains the same whether the customer chooses pickup or delivery.

Customers should clearly communicate critical deadlines and required in-hand dates before placing an order.

Please notify us promptly of shipping damage, shortages, or delivery discrepancies so that we can investigate and assist with resolution.

Mailing and Fulfillment Services

For mailing and fulfillment projects, customers are responsible for providing accurate recipient information, mailing lists, and distribution instructions unless data preparation or verification services are included in the agreed scope of work.

We make reasonable efforts to prepare and coordinate mailings according to the approved specifications and schedules.

Postal delivery times, address accuracy, undeliverable mail, and carrier performance are subject to factors outside our control. Specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed unless an appropriate guaranteed service has been arranged.

Postage, freight, and other third-party charges may be subject to adjustment based on actual quantities, weights, rates, and service requirements.

Customer-Provided Materials and Confidentiality

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to reproduce artwork, photographs, logos, text, and other materials submitted for production.

Customer files, mailing lists, and nonpublic project information will be treated as confidential and shared with production partners and service providers only as reasonably necessary to complete the requested services or as otherwise authorized or required by law.

Customers should retain copies of their original artwork and files. We may retain production files and related materials for operational purposes but do not guarantee indefinite storage or availability.

Returns, Refunds, and Quality Concerns

Because most products are custom-manufactured, returns and refunds are evaluated according to the circumstances of each order.

If a product contains a manufacturing defect, production error, or other quality issue attributable to us, please contact us promptly with a description of the problem.

We will review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include correcting the work, reprinting the affected materials, providing a credit, or issuing a refund.

Customers are encouraged to inspect orders upon receipt and report visible defects, shortages, or shipping damage promptly. Issues that could not reasonably be identified during initial inspection will be considered based on the circumstances.

Approved refunds are generally returned through the original method of payment. Credit card refunds will normally be credited to the card used for the original transaction.

Limitation of Liability

We are committed to resolving production problems fairly and reasonably.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for claims arising from an order will generally be limited to the amount charged for the affected order or portion of the order.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or other losses resulting from production or delivery issues, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are established at the time of quotation or order confirmation.

Deposits, advance payments, or payment in full may be required depending on the project and customer account arrangements.

Additional charges resulting from approved changes, services outside the original scope, or adjustments to third-party costs may be invoiced separately.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. The version applicable to an accepted order will govern unless otherwise agreed in writing.
